This artwork is a multimedia collection of world-building artworks under a larger narrative, EarShot in which a zombie apocalypse has overrun an alternate America. Frankie Chubbuck, depicted within the piece Colony’s Origin is the leader of the convoy-style rebel group “The Colony”. They don jackets like Frankie’s depicted in A Bat and its Wings as they travel around the Northern American wastelands fighting for their own safety and freedom. "Sanctum Siren" is the name of the cult who, led by Mother Dahlia who is depicted in both The Call and The Unity, serves as the major antagonist within the narrative, spreading the sound-based virus which uses the victim’s own sense of hearing against them, warping their mind and body. The themes portrayed in this artwork have the intention to make the viewer investigate their own perception and understandings on leadership and how many characteristics of great leaders are also shared by those who wish to manipulate and control the lost and vulnerable. It is also meant to be a fantastical allegory; a warning to viewers about the dangers of blindly following charismatic and persuasive individuals, as well as an outlook of hope that despite the world crumbling there will always be good somewhere.
